Remsdaq Ltd announces strategic business partnership with USA based DAQ Electronics.

On Friday 30 December 2011, David Green and 4 employees of DAQ Electronics completed a management buyout of DAQ from Flir Systems Inc.  

Remsdaq Ltd has participated in this buyout which has resulted in Remsdaq owning approximately 40% of DAQ Electronics.

For over 35 years, DAQ Electronics has been a leader in the field of high-speed electronic automation, serving applications in both the physical security and SCADA markets.  DAQ's security technology offers state-of-the-art solutions for access control and intrusion detection and has been installed in some of the most secure locations in the world, including US military bases and the Pentagon.

Terry Breen, MD Remsdaq says "the Board and Shareholders of Remsdaq believe that this transaction will deliver a number of substantial benefits to Remsdaq and DAQ. These benefits include; the potential to provide a well-established bridgehead to drive Remsdaq's SCADA and Security products into the USA market, whilst Remsdaq will provide a platform to drive DAQ's products into Remsdaq's existing global markets. Our combined design and development resources will complement each other providing a significant boost to our various development programmes".
