Quality

Quality policies and objectives are set and directed at Board Level, but with employee involvement to facilitate greater business benefits.  These policies are conveyed to all employees through an open system of communication illustrating clear objectives for staff.Remsdaq believes that, in addition to demonstrating on an international level that we are committed to quality, accreditation to ISO:9001:2015 has brought immeasurable benefits that include:

  • Improved customer care
  • Superior products
  • Framework and focus for quality
  • Improved use of time and resources
  • Reduced waste
  • Greater consistency and traceability of products and services
  • Improved staff morale and motivation

In our commitment to continual improvement, Remsdaq regularly reviews its quality policies ensuring that they adhere to international standards, are in accordance with current legislation and meet company objectives.

To further improve our quality system, Remsdaq has chosen an Integrated Management approach and is also accredited with ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).  As separate management systems share many characteristics and principles, integration can reduce waste and facilitate even greater customer care.

Environmental

Reduce, Re-use and Recycle’ – environmental protection issues are a cornerstone of Remsdaq Ltd and its business activities.

Remsdaq actively ensure that our approach to all projects and operations enables us to maintain the highest standards of environmental protection.

Our accreditation to ISO 14001:2015, Environmental Management System, demonstrates that we are committed to minimising our impact on the environment.  It provides a framework for us to control the impacts of our activities, products and services, and to continually improve environmental performance.

We operate a material recycling and recovery programme within our manufacturing process and employ a local waste management company to separate all of our office waste, including paper, plastic, cardboard, metal (cans) and glass.  These materials are then recycled into new products instead of being sent to landfill.  Remsdaq are also members of the Environment Agency WEEE scheme (Registration Number: WEE/GJ0053TQ).

Remsdaq’s Environmental Management System is part of an integrated Management approach that includes Quality and Health, Safety & Welfare.

Health & Safety

Remsdaq is committed to providing a safe place of work. The Company endeavours to go beyond the legal requirements ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, contractors and the public.

To ensure the standard of safety, we concentrate on risk management and constantly review our policies and written statements keeping up to date with new legislation and Codes of Practice.

Our accreditation to ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) illustrates our commitment to eliminate or minimise occupational Health & Safety risks and to ensure a high standard of employee welfare.

Commitment to health and safety is directed from Board level through our Health and Safety Policy, but achieving the Company goals depends upon all our employees working together to maintain and constantly improve the working environment.

Managing health, safety & welfare successfully, demands investment in our employees through training, support and setting standards.

Remsdaq’s Health, Safety & Welfare System (ISO 45001:2018), is part of an integrated Management approach that includes Quality and Environmental.

Information Security

Remsdaq reinforced its stringent information security management with the successful accreditation of the globally recognised ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Accreditation. This now means that our customers can be assured that they are working with a company who themselves are operating under internationally recognised information security standards.

ISO 27001:2013 is the global standard for the establishment and certification of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).  The standard includes a clearly-defined set of requirements for establishing, operating and maintaining an ISMS and prescribes a risk-based approach around the controls necessary to protect the organisation’s information assets.

Obtaining the ISO 27001 Certification means that Remsdaq can assure customers that adequate controls, addressing confidentiality, integrity and availability of information that is vital to any business are in place to safeguard information and provide confidence that their data inclusive of any sensitive material, is fully secure.
